When I hit the floor at a high enough speed, I just goes right through the floor. I'm not sure what's causing it but at low speeds, that never happens, and it's a plane, so there's no way that it could just go around.

I would verify that your not moving the object below without calling updateworld with two objects moving in opposite directions or the likes. As long as the plan object is stationary you should not have a problem. Also what is the relative scale of your objects and their rate of travel? Ive flung objects onto crappy poly mesh terrains at the rate of -1000 per frame etc and it stops just fine.

I restarted my computer and it's working properly now.

well be aware the size of the world dose matter :)
