| I'm not sure about your problem, but I've sort of had the opposite! In my two games (Worm and Max Invaders - in case these are two you've tested) I've turned off vsync because the game-play was choppy for some reason. They both played better with vsync off than on. Not managed to solve this one though, but the tearing isn't that bad on my system. Bigger projects will have the option available to the user. I also use Ubuntu 5.10. |
