everything is ok with ,my installation except the ide doesnt highlight the keywords like next,for,graphics,endif |
| ||
that appears to be an issue with the *cough* default IDE... Not sure if Seb sorted that in his "test" IDE build ? |

Yep, use the latest FLTK MaxIDE build, and select "Rebuild Documentation" from the program menu when it loads. Then restart the IDE and the keywords should be highlighted. |

I knew Seb could save the day again :-) |

I personally use the 1.15 community version, recompiled with the older GTK (which still has that horrible process termination bug). It looks like there is a package on sourceforge for 1.15 compiled with GTK - I had to compile it meself :) In my opinion, thats the best Linux IDE there is. The newer versions just added too much. All I need is syntax highlighting, building/compiling modules and documentation. |
