Having a manual is very important for me when I buy software, and I think I will buy B3D. I read that many people here don't use their manual : who would sell me his/her manual ? |
| ||
You don't realy need the manual. I'm glad I've got one, but to tell you the truth I've hardly even looked at it. |
| ||
I'd sell you mine if I can find it... I know it's here somewhere... still you should be aware that the printed manual is quite old and out-of-date by now. |
| ||
I have absolutely never worked with 3D : that's the reason why I need this manual. @Anthony : how much would you sell it to me ? |
| ||
Seriously, I would give it to you for nothing if you send me a self-addressed envelope with the correct postage on it. But I really would have to find it first. I'll have a look tomorrow. If not, I know that Flameduck is willing to do the same. |

the manual is like a replica of the help you get in blitz's ide |
| ||
Thanks for this offer Anthony ! I just see that you are in Japan and FlameDuck who is in Europe : I'll ask him first because of the postage costs. If he doesn't find it I'll tell you... Another solution would be : is there a mean to convert the help file in a printable .doc file without copying/pasting each webpage into the document ? |
| ||
>the manual is like a replica of the help you get in >blitz's ide ahem no! There's a whole lot more tutorials and info that the built-in help. Why not just buy a new manual from idigicon? Andy |
| ||
@Andy : thanks for this idea ! |

I just received my Blitz3D manual this morning ! :-) ... and I just bought Blitz3D here (I am still downloading it at this very moment) : I can't wait to test it ! :-) I am so happy ! :-) |

Congratulations. Drink in the smell, my friend (that is, if your manual smells like mine did, fresh from the printer's - there was a whole sub-cult devoted to the smell of the manual when it first came out :) ). It will fade with use, but that wonderfull smell: it's... untapped programming waiting to come to life... it's the very scent of knowledge! :) |

@WendellM : How wonderfull said ! :-) That is part of the pleasure, for sure... |
