I have a plane that I am using for water. Yet when I move around above it it has this weird lighting effect like flashing. Is there any way to get rid of this?

There is an optional parameter which you can change to have more subdivisions. This should give you better lighting. http://www.blitzbasic.com/b3ddocs/command.php?name=CreatePlane&ref=3d_cat Stevie
