HELP! I just upgraded to a Athalon XP 2100 processor with 1 GB of DDR RAM - simply 300% faster than my previous computer running at 450Mhz I have been creating a game for a while and the test world is pretty barebones. Before I was achieving 90 FPS and things were awesome Now I am achieving 3 FPS on the exact same program I have been in the past and am still currently running XP Pro Everything else about the computer system is the same - I just changed the motherboard, CPU and memory. Every piece of software other than Blitz 3D is running full steam ahead and shows the massive power this new system has. I have made no changes at all and simply wanted to show it to a client - imagine my surprise at this insane slow down!!!!!!! What do I do to fix this?????? Any help or similar experiences would be helpful |

isnt that the gfx card thing? http://www.blitzbasic.com/bbs/posts.php?topic=19648 |

The graphics card is a GeForce 3 Ti whatever - Titanium series - has not changed and has 128MB DDR memory - more than enough |

Yeah, but the Nvidia drivers act like Lee Bamber wrote them. You need to downgrade your drivers. I suggest the drivers that actually shipped with XP. Anytime I have tried to use different ones, the performance has gone down hill. |

> I suggest the drivers that actually shipped with XP. Erm, I'd more overly suggest one of the two driver versions : -30.82 (most stable drivers) -41.09 (has issues on some very specific cards, but are faster drivers than 30.82) |

Same thing happend to me so I reverted to the drivers to 40.17 http://www.blitzbasic.com/bbs/posts.php?topic=20469 |
