anim8tor parameters in 3ds?

in anim8tor, exporting 3ds files, should i be seeing the parameters i applied to the textures? i created a polygon, 12 sided die kind of thing, applied a granite texture to it. i changed the color so that it looks kind of golden. i saved the an8 file, and exported to .3ds since blitz doesn't read an8 files. my software loads the object and texture, but when i display it, it has the original color of the texture, it doesn't have any of the tweaks i applied in anim8tor. it's not the golden color. is this normal, should i not expect to see the 'ambient,diffuse,specular,reflective' parameters displaying when i load the mesh and display it? |
