hello peeps. I managed to get bmax installed and updated to 1.20. Ran a syncmods after that. I have installed g++ 3.3. Then wrote a lil test program to see if it works, but the compiler keeps tossing the following error: Building lin_bmx_01 Linking:lin_bmx_01.debug /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXxf86vm collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Build Error: Failed to link /media/hda2/coding/BlitzMax/Test/lin_bmx_01.debug Process complete any ideas? |

You have noticed the Linux section of this forum, right? |

slow? you *must* have somthing wrong... its *notacably* faster than windows here! :D |

Most likely thing wrong is that your install of linux is using software 3d, and not making use of any 3d hardware accelleration. Check your gfx card drivers. |
