Speeding up LoadSound?

| I'm using LoadSound to load both my sound effects (generally as wav files) and for music (ogg vorbis). This works fine, but the music files are bigger and take a while to load. I put up a "loading..." message while I load the music, but even with only a handful of songs, it's already too long a delay to ask anyone to sit through. Alternative approaches? I've also noticed that nothing happens while the sound files are loading. If I could do something else while they load, that might help. TIA, -pmc |
