Buttons on Windows

| Hi SebHoll. First let me say that MaxGUI is a wonderful and necessary add-on to BlitzMax. As I start to learn Windows (XP SP3), I came across something unusual. I chose Large Fonts under Display Properties and the buttons on my MaxGUI game window moved down (south). I chose Very Large Fonts and the buttons moved down even more. Don't know if there is an easy detour or if this applies to more modern Windows. Cheers. |

As I start to learn Windows (XP SP3), I came across something unusual. I chose Large Fonts under Display Properties and the buttons on my MaxGUI game window moved down (south). I chose Very Large Fonts and the buttons moved down even more. Don't know if there is an easy detour or if this applies to more modern Windows. Cheers. I'll have a look next time I'm in Windows and have a few moment. I do think that this is a direct result of Windows rescaling the controls to accommodate the large text sizes, and as you suspect, it might not be possible to work-around. |
