Whats the low down on movie playback using BlitzMax under both Windows & Linux?

PantsOn's modules are prefect for this job. But anyway movies will dramatically increase your distribution size, so it's really need consideration.

@ Pantson - this is the MPEG module? Does it work ok under linux? Also, luckily distribution size not important for my idea.

I have been informed that the mpeg module and theora module do work under linux (they just need compiling) Watch out with the MPEG module as it under the GPL. you have to release your source code of your project on request if you use this module.
