FMOd for Linux?
BlitzMax Forums/BlitzMax Module Tweaks/FMOd for Linux?
| ||
Hey people, i try to use fmod with blitzmax on linux. But i only have a fmod.so file and i donīt know how to import it in bmax. Could anyone explain me how to import .so libraries in bmax? Or is this not possible? thx |

Sorry I can't help you: I know almost nothing about Linux... Hopefully some type of built-in fmod-like support will be in a near future version of Bmax (perhaps by way of one of the open source mod-playing libraries like d.u.m.b.\audiere) Anyone? Russell |

it would rule if bmax had official modules for mac linux and pc FMOD. |

Mark and Simon - if you get time, why not take what we've started and run with it? it only needs a mac and linux port... The following URL has a complete module for windows, covering every part of it: http://www.sherrox.com/Fmod3_74_BlitzMax.rar But we need it ported to Linux and Mac for everyone else. Would be very grateful if you took it on board. |

wow, looks promising - exactly what i was looking for. i'll definetly test this module in our next game project! |

if you're considering a mac or linux port, post back on the FMOD sticky in programming. |
