Alright, this is looking pretty good now, when is it going to be released? |
| ||
It's already released here: http://www.d-grafix.com/ |

very smooth looking, its apps like this that make me feel like getting back into rendering.....followed a link on your website to stix4life in pursuit of that 3d jetpac game you mentioned.... deviantart is something else ! |

It looks very nice, although in the top picture it is rather easy to spot the tiled green texture as it repeats over the landscape. How do you do the grass? It looks like you are only displaying grass near the camera, is that correct? The grass looks very good. What did you use to create the shadow from the house? EDIT - I just realised this is a slightly old thread, hope that doesn't matter too much. |

looks GREAT!!! --Mike |

stix4life in pursuit of that 3d jetpac game you mentioned ahem... its on the list ( a long one :) How do you do the grass? It looks like you are only displaying grass near the camera, is that correct? The grass looks very good. What did you use to create the shadow from the house? grass is all over, ted has an option for entityfading. In a game it would be culled completely when totally faded as it copies and culls instances of a mesh instead of whe whole thing. The shadow was genrated by teds lightmapper which can now handle alpha textures too |

OMG great stuff :D |
| ||
hmm i think the terrain has to many polys, and the gras has the same direction. But so looks the screen not bad. |
| ||
You work like Nigel Mansel with a jetpack. So, When is Ted6 out? :D lol. neat work :D |

Hi, "puki" here. I'm too important to make my own terrains in T.ED, so hand over yours. You can post links to your terrains in this thread. Make sure they are good - good enough for a commercial game. Although my game is not a commercial project, I want decent stuff - so no rubbish. If anyone feels that their terrains are not that good, then I suggest you use T.ED every day until you are at a suitable standard. Practice makes perfect. Right, off you all go - I'll wait here. ps, my project is a Fantasy/medieval looking RPG: |

let me guess, it's "oblivion reloaded" +_+ |

as long as it isnt called "Battlespire", we dont mind ;) Sam |
