Hey, It's my first proper model in blender. I think it's the 3rd one except all those swords :) It's a 9-10yrs kid model which I'll be using for a little kids game. Not textured, rigged and animated yet. "1936" tris. Here; http://indiediary.info/2008/03/kiddo.html |

fine! |

Not bad at all. The head looks too narrow, though, and the torso looks a little too thick. |
| ||
That's great, especially considering it's one of your first attempts. Get it skinned and animated now :) |
| ||
Not bad. Could do with a little tweaking as JustLuke said. |

Thanks for your comments it's really encouraging, I'm very pleased with the model. Using reference images helps a lot for the proper anatomy. I'll post an update here as soon as I finish texturing and the animation. Animation in Blender looks a little tricky with bones, maybe I'll go for keyframe animation which is a lot simpler. |

UPDATE: Unwrapping and texturing done; http://indiediary.info/2008/03/kids-texture-done.html |

Very nice, can one hire you for 3D modelling? Not that I'm working on a 3D game currently, but it's always good to have a list of potential freelancers :P |

Hmm, there is something I don't like in his face (model & texture) but I don't know yet what is that... In any case, I don't forget that this is your first proper model. Keep the good work Mortiis! |

@squareiris: Yeah why not if it's a paying job as I need a lot of money right now :) @Moraldi: Thanks, maybe that's the shape of the eye brows you don't like. |

UPDATE: Slowly it's shaping up! http://indiediary.info/ |
