In-Game shots from my combat simulator, Enemy Inbound, showing reflective water (bump animated) and a growing GUI for the editor (developer only) Using FASTEXT.dll But I do need some info in anyone can help; I am currently using the demo version of this DLL. When I purchase the licenced version, will the DLL be part of my compile when I create an EXE? I cant seem to find any tutorials on this DLL that are easy to follow. Anyone? Anyway, enjoy. Video soonish. Dave |

I like the fact the foamy bits in that top picture. |

look very good and keep it up :) |

"Foamy Bits' or rather, Wash fades in from 0.0 Alpha, peaks @ 1.0 then fades back out 0.0 - all while it approaches (perpendicular)to the shore. While it looks good, games like Far Cry do it a little differently; Far Cry waves are fixed to the shore and seem to expand / fade in - fade out / retract. Perhaps I need a combo of both. One thing I need to make the lilly pads undulate - or similar. |

I would like to see a video of waves/foam. |

Coming soon Mortiis.....how's your underwater stuff going? It's coming along quite fast. Working on the performance issues lately. I get 600 FPS with a 8800 though my target system specs are much much lower. Finished the particle system lately, now I'm working on algea. Thanks for your interest :) |
