Error Start Windows

| Hi, I have a problem starting windows, it tells me it can not find core / activation.dll, any suggestions please. |

| Hmm,that's a weird one. There are some problems with Microsoft Updates that mess things up and can prevent the system from starting. If that is the case, you can try: -Windows 7- Boot from Windows DVD, choose repair options (under Advanced I believe) and try System Restore to an earlier date. -Windows 8- Force shutdown a couple of times so Windows notices something is wrong and goes into repair mode. If not even reaching there: boot from DVD and select Refresh install, which won't delete all your files/programs, only OS files. (above is from top of my head, so might be slightly different) Hope it helps.. |
