As Monkey exports it's code to Java, is it possible to write apps for Blackberry phones with Monkey? |
| ||
No, not yet. |
| ||
Any reason why? |
| ||
Because noone created a target for it yet ?!?! |

Playbook is said to have an Android emulation layer. Additionally, PlayBook might be native Flash Air applications, so you could probably target Flash as well. But you may need to expose functions from the Playbook-specific Air SDK. http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/23959/Overview_1352483_11.jsp |

Playbook is said to have an Android emulation layer. I thought it could only load Android apps from their store though, not from other sources? |

I just gave my 8900 to my 11 year old daughter - I have a spanking new Samsung Galaxy S II! I miss my Blackberry already :( |

... 11 year old daughter? Isn't she a little young for a cell phone? |

I've got a Galaxy SII too! I personally love it. Not quite got going on my plans to develop money making apps for it yet though. |

... 11 year old daughter? Isn't she a little young for a cell phone? You'd be surprised -- supposedly 35% of kids have a phone at age 8 these days. By 11, the majority of kids do. |
