All rights reserved. bla,bla,bla.. Description ======== BlitzAmped (project name) is video screen "FX" system driven by music from various digital media such as mp3, oog, CD and more. BlitzAmped(c) uses BlitzBass(c) (www.lab-au.com.com) to receive real-time audio data and turn that into real-time 2D FX (requires DX 7.0 and 3D). Direction for Installation ================ 1. Unzip BlitzAmped(c) into a directory. 2. Currently BlitzAmped(c) is in development and uses a WinAmp(c) "Play-List". All you do is save a copy of a Winamp(c) "Play-List" in the same directory as BlitzAmped(c) and name it "bitzamped.m3u". 3. Run BlitzAmpped. The "." (period) key will advance to the next song. The "Escape" key will exit BlitzAmped(c) BlitzAmped(c) will play through the play list till it reachs the end. Version History =========== 04/01/03 - Beta 01 Added sound support to drive FX engine. added new FX total 5 added FX selection matrix added WinAmp "Play-List" support. messed with timming control added help menu more to come.... Blitz_Amped_Relived.exe - The first one. Know Issues ========= None as yet ***NOTE*** This current file runs in "32-Bit" color depth in 3D. Music play is "WORKING". See "Read_Me.txt" for instructions. Requires that you save a WinAmp(c) play-list in the BlitzAmped directory. Cool FX, but is there supposed to be music there, I can hear none. Started about 125 FPS and rised fast to level steady around 150 FPS..... |

MUSIC - IS IN!! Now BlitzAmped will play "MP3's" (and more) via WinAmp(c) play-list. Just save a play-list in the BlitzAmp directory named "blitzamped.m3u". 5 new FX that will sync to the music.. "It Rocks!" **** See the First Message in this thread for EXE link. **** L8r, |

Looks very cool :) I think it would look SO much better without drawing that annoying white line. Is there any way of getting rid of that and just showing the pattern it makes underneath? It would look so much smoother. |
