looks like the sprite editor from AMOS, good work dj! |

If I can remember correctly....those sprites look like the sprites off of CastleVania2 for the NES... Dont know if its me, but the editor seems a bit clustered... |

Blitter objects...Haven't heard anyone call them that in quite a while. Brings a bit of a tear to the eye,eh? Still got the old Amiga sitting in the basement. I think it works? Maybe I'll dig it out one of these days. Such nostalgia. I remember paying $350 for a 20mb(not a typo!)hard drive. sigh... Doggie |

I bought an Amiga 500 and the classic game IK+ from Ebay, very nice. And, more on-topic, that's a colorful editor! I have created a map editor for my game creating efforts but it's purely for my own use (meaning it's totally unclear from the outside how it should be used), but this here really looks like a complete program. |

@telesto Thank you for the positive feedback @Foppy, Thanks since you mentioned it, I am gonna add that to my editor, Scenes are just a skip away. I hope to make it worth it to anyone who enjoys doing 2d Games. (is your editor finished enough to were i might integrate it with my prog?) Maybe I can have a look at your setup and build from there if you don't mind:) If anyone here actually sits down and trys to use this. Give me some feedback on what might be missing. I know it is kind of rough, but I want to make it a wam bam in your face app!! Something that the blitz community will remember me by. Thanks Everyone Peace |

My map editor is really very simple, there are no buttons or mouse control. Still maybe you can use it as a basis or just have a look at it, so here's a link to the file (87 Kb): worldEditor.zip I cleaned up the source code and added some comments, all the controls and details are in the source code (controls are the cursor keys and space bar, plus L for load and S for save (always from and to the same default file) and [ and ] for selecting the current drawing tile). |

@Foppy I like your prog:) I think that I might have some use for it. Hope I can have an update here soon to my prog. With A scene editor integrated to it. If anyone is interested maybe they can go through the bmp files, in the pictures folder and make a little better looking gui. (that bob editor prog at the top) |
