| Hi Gerry- lost the original thread but I see you asked me what I don't like about the graphics. Answer is I don't dislike them at all. They are very simple and effective, but a bit more work could make it look nicer. e.g. make the hexes have 'oozing' animated borders maybe, perhaps a little shading... who knows. It's a simple game so I could fully understand if you think this is overkill. |

| Yeah, I did think about a little dithering, but I wanted it to be clear with very small hexes. I might try to enhance them a bit in future if the hexes are large. Maybe a border about each 'country' would be nice too. But really, I am currently on a vibe of 'you ain't an artist so don't waste time on the art'. I don't know how many projects I have sitting incomplete because I couldn't decide on a look for them. |
