| Dear friends, I wanted to ask you something, I am a new user I bought the monkey, Inch days ago, and the version that came to download,is monkeypro63b looking at the page, they talk about Experimental version 76a is now up!<-- how get it? :3 and watching another forum article, mention minib3d and uses the author's version, mnkpro69. are all beta versions? is there any option to update? how could download it to prove it? try running the examples minib3d in 63b and did not work :( will I have to upgrade? I would greatly appreciate if you can tell me about that. |

| most examples stay the same between versions. Some small things are added to test new features, but it's not consistent. buena suerte, y bienvenido a Monkey :3 |

| Welcome! Once you get used to this site, it's not that complicated to find everything. That said, updates section should be much more easilly accessed. I've seen this "where to get updates" threads soo long... |

| Best pick a fairly recent version and stick with that until you need a new feature, or just want to catch up a bit. Monkey is pretty consistent and it is very rare for an existing feature to be changed or broken by an update. The exception might be if you need minib3d as that is a fast-changing module that can need a certain version - most modules will work fine on any version that was current when they were developed. |
