Is it possible to do multiplayer over the internet with Monkey X?

I should have been more specific. Is it possible with real time multiplayer on all platforms? HTML5, Android and iOS are the most interesting platforms.

I guess you need to check out the availability of UDP (though obviously TCP can work for slow-paced games).
