After googles upon googles i find nothing on this subject(even here in the forums)... Under File->Options there is an option to set a blitzmax path For what reason may i ask? i attempted to open a bmax file in ted to no avail, is it used in conjunction with the EXTERN command to bring blitz modules into monkey? I feel there is an untapped gem here that i may have been missing out on this whole time |

I'v always assumed it was just some old code, I actually think I might have asked this exact question at some point as well, don't recall if I ever got an answer tho. |

I reckon Mark threw it in as a quick way to write and compile the tools for Monkey. TED is functional to edit and compile a BlitzMax application, but there is no real control on configuration and no real text highlighter. If you want to try it, then set the BlitzMax path in the options dialog and open a BlitzMax sample directory as a Project and double click a BlitzMax source file. You will find that the target will change to "BlitzMax App". |
